From me to you!
This is my "micro-blog." I will try to do all my assignments and model "pushing the boundaries." Join me!
Pushing the Creative and Imaginative YOU
This is all about you. Can you use animation, text, images, audio to express yourself online. Of course the next question is once you express yourself, can you get a response to that expression?
You can tell from the bookmarks in my tumblelog this week that our work combines picking up new skills in Flash and being inspired by other animators who are publishing work online.
Tuesday we watched the tutorials and reviewed how to break into different layers and how to break apart images. We also explored using motion guides.
Today, Thursday, we watched the tutorials and reviewed inserting new frames (extending the timeline in your animation) and editing symbols.
If you want to review these skills, you can look in the Help section of Flash, use the Video Workshop CD or use the Atomic Learning tutorial online.
Remember I have bookmarked a lot of good resources in my delicious account. Last week, I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Josh Schachter who created del.icio.us. He was honored at the annual event for Rhizome.
Tomorrow, Friday, keep working on your animation. Remember the visual and the audio should have a clear relationship. Next week, we will do some simple programming in Flash and create an interactive button to stop and start your animation.
